Your wedding is a very special occasion, and one of the funnest parts about the planning process is the cake tasting! Our cakes are designed to suit the individual tastes and preferences of each client. We will work with you to create the design you envision for your big day. This is a time for you to sit back and relax, and just enjoy some cake!
Your initial consultation is by appointment only, and takes place in the comfortable living room of Galya's own home. We will discuss your design ideas, theme, color scheme, and anything else that we will need to know to help you make your day special. You will sample three cake flavors, and five fillings of your choice. (Please see our Flavor page for ideas.) We do not pair any cake flavors with fillings - we want you to be in control of what cakes you like with which filling - however, we will offer suggestions as to which flavors we recommend you pair with what fillings.
Because we bake everything fresh for your tasting, if you need to cancel, we ask that you do so at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time. Consultations usually take about an hour, and we ask that you be prompt.
Once you select us as your wedding cake designer, we get to work on your contract. We require a 50% deposit to hold the date and the balance must be paid in full no less than two weeks prior to the event.
